About the role
We are excited to welcome a Learning and Development Advisor to our growing People & Culture team in Athens, supporting Aurora Energy Research's global workforce across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas. This role offers the unique opportunity to work in an international organisation while being based in Greece, combining local presence with global impact.

You will play a leading role in shaping and delivering innovative learning programmes that empower our people and support the company's global expansion, You'll partner with colleagues across time zones and business functions, designing and managing end-to-end learning initiatives, from identifying learning needs to delivering learner-centric content and evaluating programme effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
Learning and Programme Development

  • Partner with key stakeholders across global offices to identify learning needs and deliver impactful, locally relevant, ad scalable solutions.
  • Design and implement learner-centric instructional content, using tools such as Articulate, and applying best practices in adult learning.
  • Lead the end-to-end project management of learning programmes - scoping, planning, development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Create and evolve learning pathways, competency frameworks, and leadership development programmes tailored to different career stages across the organisation.
  • Stay up to date on global L&D trends and technologies and integrate new thinking into our offerings.

Facilitation & Advisory

  • Support the delivery of Instructor-Led Training, digital learning content, and global leadership initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders across countries and functions, providing guidance on training strategy and implementation.
  • Coach and support internal trainers and subject matter experts in delivering engaging learning experiences.

Operational Excellence & Reporting

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programmes through robust feedback and analytics.
  • Maintain and optimise learning data using the Learning Management Systems and HR platforms.
  • Track attendance, engagement and satisfaction and generate insights to improve delivery and impact.
  • Assist with L&D budget planning and financial tracking across global learning initiatives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in L&D, ideally within a fast-paced and international setting
  • Demonstrated ability to consult with diverse stakeholders to identify learning needs and deliver tailored training solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in digital authoring tools (Articulate as a preference) and experience creating learner-centric digital learning content.
  • Solid understanding of adult learning methodologies and behavioural learning design
  • A proven ability to manage end-to-end learning programmes across multiple geographies.
  • Strong experience in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Fluency in both English and Greek (written and verbal) at C1 level or higher.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative digital tools.

Desirable attributes:

  • Professional certifications in Project Management (e.g. PRINCE2, AgilePM, Waterfall)
  • Experience working in a global matrixed organisation, ideally in consulting or professional services.
  • Knowledge of budget and cost management within L&D projects.
