Ground Operations Supervisor

About the role:

The
Ground Operations Supervisor (Domestic Market)
is responsible for all aspects of the safe, cost-effective and punctual operation of allocated stations or bases' operation.

They ensure that all ground handling processes are executed smoothly, in line with airline policies, safety standards, and local regulations, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient and safe operations in direct support of the responsible Ground Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates all ground operations, including check-in, boarding, baggage handling, aircraft turnaround, and other on-ground activities.
• Ensures on-time departures and arrivals by closely coordinating with internal departments and third-party ground service providers.
• Ensures that ground handling companies, airport operations and ground personnel comply with the legislation, regulations and company's safety standards.
• Undertakes station visits and relevant audits/inspections/trainings.
• Prepares and submits daily operational reports, including delays, incidents, and resource utilization.
• Participates in internal and external quality/compliance related cross-functional projects.
• Ability to understand SGHA and SLA documentation, perform price analysis and create statistical reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in ground operations. A supervisory role at an outstation or domestic location would be considered an asset.
• Flexibility to work on call as per operational needs and ability to travel within Greece and abroad, when necessary.
• Strong knowledge of the Airport infrastructure / Operational specifics in Greece.
• Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
• IT literate (MS Office).
