The Vibe

I'm an operator/UX/product person who's shipped products from 0-1 and led teams for years. With a 20 years experienced Frontend engineer we are now spinning up a marketplace where people book trusted advisors for short sessions.

Not going deep on details in public yet but think: clear pricing, verified experts, simple booking, wallet/credits, and review signals.

This space is
real
: spiritual advisor marketplaces are growing fast, the broader "expert networks 1:1 advice" category is a multi-billion market with steady growth (7–16% CAGR in recent reports). Competitors prove demand.

Who we looking for

Spiritual, curious or open-minded. You like shipping, not posturing. You care about craft
and
ethics. You can own decisions, communicate clearly, and enjoy pairing with product/UX and Frontend.

Role:

  • Own the backend
  • APIs, data model, payments, bookings, infra/observability.
  • Frontend is working with React, , Typescript

What you will do early

  • Stand up v0 → v1: auth, profiles, search/browse, messaging, booking, payments.
  • Keep things lean: one VPS or simple PaaS to start; tighten feedback loops.
  • Co-design the roadmap and own backend decisions, security, and reliability.

Your toolkit

  • Languages: or Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.)
  • Experience with: payments (Stripe, etc), queues, databases.
  • Mindset: pragmatic, low-drama, can ship on a small budget.
  • Bonus: experience with marketplaces, bookings, or WebRTC.
