Role Description

We're seeking an Android Developer to join our team in Athens, Greece for a full-time hybrid position. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining cutting-edge Android applications that integrate real-time data, GPS tracking, and AI-powered features.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Build sophisticated real-time vehicle tracking features including GPS integration, interactive map displays, and seamless data synchronization
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage robust communication with backend services to ensure smooth data flow and system reliability
• Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and reliability across both offline and online scenarios
• Collaborate closely with AI and backend teams to align features, define technical requirements, and shape system architecture
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and participate in code reviews
• Identify, debug, and resolve issues proactively to ensure app stability and optimal user experience
• Contribute to technical decision-making and grow your skills in a supportive, collaborative environment

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin
• Proven ability to build and ship Android applications, with interest or experience in real-time data handling and location-based features
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and modern development tools
• Experience with GPS integration, mapping libraries (Google Maps, Mapbox), and real-time data synchronization
• Strong proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and working with backend services
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to ensure effective collaboration in our international environment
• Familiarity with version control (Git), testing frameworks, and Agile methodologies

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java and React/React Native
• Knowledge of Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and analytics integration
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Previous experience working on AI-integrated applications or transportation/logistics apps
