The opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced iOS and/or Android Developer to join our Hiveact Software Team, in our endeavor to deliver cutting-edge solutions, in the fitness industry with modern designed gadgets that synchronize with user behaviors which is a leading provider of professional services to clients of all major sporting industries.

A new-age Fitness product that utilizes Reaction Lighting technology in order to gamify the workout experience. Consisting of the
Hiveact Cells & Application
, it interacts with the exercise routine by adding fun & control to it. The application of the Wireless Cells on the surrounding environment (interior & exterior) as long as the program. Customization Software offers limitless possibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

•
Designing and building applications for the iOS or Android platforms

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and adapt to new features.

• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

• Work with outside data sources and APIs

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

To qualify for the role, you must have

·      University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a relevant field.

· years of professional experience in a similar role

·      Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills in Greek and English.

·      Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.

·      Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills

·      Knowledge of TypeScript.

·      Knowledge of Modern Web APIs including Web Components, WebSocket's and Fetch.

·      Working experience in native mobile development (iOS or Android)

·      Have published one or more iOS or Android apps in the app store or Google play

·      Strong experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+).

·      Strong experience with HTML5 & CSS3, including CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS or Stylus.

·      Experience in consuming dynamic web services and REST APIs.

·      Proven experience in web application development with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Knockout,

·      Experience with npm and Git.

·      Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

·      Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON

Ideally, you will also have

·      Knowledge of web application unit/integration testing and of testing frameworks such as Mocha, Jest, and Jasmine will be considered a plus.

·      Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

·      Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

·      Advanced Web Applications' development experience.

·      Advanced Mobile Applications' development experience.
