We are seeking a
Facilities Maintenance Officer
to join our team and ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and security of our facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, and internal projects.
  • Coordinate proactive maintenance for all facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, security, and fire regulations.
  • Ensure proper functionality of security systems and adherence to company security procedures.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and security incidents, generating relevant reports.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
  • Supervise security, cleaning, and maintenance staff, conducting regular inspections of facilities.
  • Resolve damages and maintenance issues to keep facilities in optimal condition.
  • Respond promptly to urgent requests and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Business Administration, Facilities Management) is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) will be considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
