Availability and Capacity Management Process Owner
in Athens to work with our clients in the
European public sector
.

The Availability and Capacity Manager ensures that IT services meet current and future availability and capacity requirements in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role involves proactive monitoring, planning, and reporting to maintain optimal performance and reliability of IT infrastructure and services.

Your role:

• Capacity Planning
  : Develop and maintain capacity plans that align with business needs and forecast future resource requirements
• Availability Monitoring
  : Monitor system availability and performance metrics to ensure services meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs)
• Trend Analysis
  : Analyze historical data to identify trends in resource utilization and availability, providing insights for future planning
• Collaboration with IT Teams
  : Work closely with IT operations and development teams to ensure that capacity and availability considerations are integrated into project planning and system design
• Incident Management Support
  : Assist in the investigation of incidents related to capacity and availability, providing recommendations for improvements
• Reporting
  : Prepare and present regular reports on capacity and availability metrics to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and recommendations
• Continuous Improvement
  : Identify opportunities for process improvements in capacity and availability management practices and implement best practices
• Stakeholder Engagement
  : Collaborate with business units to understand their capacity needs and ensure that IT services are aligned with business objective

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP, or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
• 7+ years of experience in IT project/programme managemen
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale IT programme
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Agile, SAFe
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skill
• Proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or Smartshee
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationship
• You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required)
