Your Impact

As an Accounting Assistant, you'll join an established and fast-paced environment to work within our accounting team to support various projects and activities on a daily basis.

You will enjoy the opportunity to excel and progress professionally and work together with a talented team.

The successful candidate will be based in Athens and report to Tailwind's Senior Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute various Bookkeeping and Accounting postings
  • Take responsibility for monthly invoicing and revenue reconciliation
  • Conduct GL Account Reconciliations
  • Aid in the preparation of VIES and VAT
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Provide responses to queries for information and access relevant files
  • Calculate monthly provisions and accruals
  • Engage in departmental projects as a participant

We're looking for someone who

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. Additional computer training or certification is advantageous
  • Demonstrates 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting
  • Exhibits proficiency in MS Office and data programs
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail and demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Commits to maintaining confidentiality
  • Collaborates as a team player, self-motivate, and take ownership of tasks
  • Communicates effectively with an excellent command of the English language
