Beverage World, a fast-growing FMCG company and the exclusive distributor of a variety of global leading brands (such as Lavazza, Angostura, Brokers, Voreia Beer & Ouzo 12) in the Greek market, is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join its dynamic Accounting team.

This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry tasks
  • Prepare payment proposals and processing of payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Communicate with vendors and banks regarding financial matters
  • Collaborate with auditors and provide necessary documentation
  • Support the Tax & Accounting Supervisor in ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (SAP experience preferred)
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
