About the Role

We're looking for a Software Architect to define the architectural vision and technical strategy for a next-generation modular SaaS platform. This is a senior, strategic role — not just about building software, but about building meaningful systems that make technology serve people and the planet. You'll design scalable, secure, and future-ready systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to align platform evolution with Agile principles, data sovereignty, and hybrid infrastructure strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and evolve a scalable multi-tenant SaaS platform.
  • Define architecture standards, coding conventions, and best practices.
  • Lead on data isolation, security, and scalability decisions.
  • Oversee system modernization and hybrid deployments.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to ensure CI/CD excellence.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for long-term platform sustainability.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ as Lead Architect or Principal Engineer.
  • Proven experience in distributed systems and API-first architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-tenancy, compliance, and security frameworks.
  • Strategic systems thinker with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to guide teams through Agile, iterative delivery.

Nice to Have

  • SaaS product architecture and deployment experience.
  • Metadata-driven or workflow orchestration platforms.
  • Hybrid or cloud-native environments.
  • Domain experience in retail tech, logistics, or regulated industries.
