About the Job Opportunity

We are looking for a
Data Analyst

to join our Data Science team. Your primary focus will be to
support the Product, Sales, and Data teams

with ongoing analytics needs — from ad hoc event queries to basic aggregation and metric reporting using tools like Databricks, Metabase. and SQL.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable navigating large datasets. While the majority of your work will involve quick-turnaround insights, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to larger Data Science and analytics initiatives when time allows.

What You'll Do

• Handle
  ad hoc data requests

from the Product and Sales teams.
- Write efficient SQL queries using
Databricks / Spark SQL

to pull and analyze data.
- Translate business questions into clear, repeatable queries and visualizations.
- Build and maintain
basic dashboards or reports

in tools like Metabase or similar.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in reported metrics.
- Help maintain clean, well-documented query templates and logic for commonly requested metrics.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience as a
  Data Analyst

,
BI Analyst

, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in
SQL

(ideally in Spark or Databricks environments). Experience with
NoSQL

databases is a plus (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Solid experience with
Python

for data wrangling, exploratory analysis, and working with libraries such as pandas, numpy, or matplotlib.
- Experience working with real world, sometimes noisy,
event-based data

(e.g., logs, product tracking events) and
extracting patterns and insights.
- Understanding of
basic product metrics

(DAU/WAU, funnels, retention, acquisition, conversion).
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable juggling multiple short-term requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Greek, and good command of the English language is a must.

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated ability to
  build and maintain dashboards

using modern BI or data visualization tools (e.g. Metabase, Tableau, Looker e.t.c.)
- Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
- Exposure to
product analytics

concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with core
machine learning concepts

such as clustering, classification, and regression.
