Introduction to the Company

Mailship provides 3PL services (storage, order preparation, packaging, and shipping) to e-commerce stores at affordable prices while ensuring fast delivery to end customers. The company operates in three countries - Italy, Czechia, and Greece - and is a member of the Emma Capital Group, which has invested in BoxNow.

Mailship commenced its commercial operations in Greece in February 2024, and in July of the same year, it moved to a new warehouse in Aspropyrgos, Attica, where the company's offices are also located.

Position Summary

The Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of approximately 10 warehouse employees who may perform the following tasks: picking, packing, inbound processing, or replenishment of warehouse locations. The main responsibilities include completing all tasks during a shift, resolving issues that may arise either independently or in collaboration with other company teams, and supervising the productivity and quality of the employees' work.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Team Leadership:
Motivate, supervise, and evaluate shift members to achieve productivity goals.

Operational Management:
Quickly resolve day-to-day operational issues and make decisions in unforeseen situations to ensure smooth operations.

Process Control:
Ensure compliance with approved work procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.

·      
Reporting & Communication:
Regularly report shift results to management, escalate issues in a timely manner, and propose improvements.

Training & Development:
Support the onboarding of new employees and contribute to the team's ongoing professional development.

·      
Shift Organization:
Plan and manage shift schedules to optimize workforce utilization and ensure business continuity.

Equipment Supervision:
Oversee the proper and safe use of tools and equipment by the team.

·      
Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and maintain order within the workplace.

·      
Shipment Management:
Supervise order fulfillment according to defined workflows, monitor efficiency, and ensure optimal use of packaging materials.

·      
Small Parcel Handling:
Record, sort, and consolidate small parcels into shipping pallets as per guidelines.

·      
Transport Coordination:
Communicate and collaborate with the transport department to ensure timely and accurate load handling.

Required Qualifications:

·
High school diploma or higher education degree

·      Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar position (e.g., shift supervisor, warehouse supervisor)

·      Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

·      Proven leadership and team motivation skills

·      Basic knowledge of ERP or WMS systems

·      Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations

·      Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure

·      Proficiency in using computers

·      Excellent command of the Greek language (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:
