Data Architect
. The successful candidates will work in a multicultural environment supporting our core business in large Information Systems for the European Commission. What you will do...

  • Create and implement data management processes and procedures;
  • Design and orchestrate data migrations and interface evolutions;
  • Translate business requirements into databases, data warehouses, and data streams.

What is your experience...

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline;
  • 8-year experience
    in software development and data architecture;
  • Experience in Solutions Architecture and Design experience across software, cloud and/or data projects;
  • Experience with data lake/data warehouse design, metadata management, and ETL/ELT architectures;
  • Knowledge and experience in architecture design tools (e.g., Visio, Sparx EA) and modeling notation (e.g., ArchiMate, UML, C4 model).
  • Certifications in Azure/AWS Data Engineer Associate, Certified Data Management Professional [CDMP]), TOGAF will be considered as an asset.

  • Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, capable of communicating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience and willingness to work in an international / multicultural environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
