FoodTec Solutions Inc., a trailblazing point-of-sale solutions provider in the restaurant industry, headquartered in Needham, MA. POS Solutions, FoodTec's Premium Partner, is based in the city of Thessaloniki and is seeking a dynamic Mobile Developer to join our dedicated team.

As a Mobile Developer, you will be part of our mobile application development team and responsible for designing and building high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms using the Flutter framework. You will collaborate closely with our design and product teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Mobile Applications: Design, code, test, and deploy mobile applications using the Flutter framework to ensure a responsive, efficient, and high-quality user experience.
  • Cross-Platform Development: Utilize Flutter's capabilities to write code once and deploy it on multiple platforms, including Android and iOS.
  • UI/UX Design: Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for mobile applications.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party APIs and libraries as needed for various functionalities, such as authentication, database integration, and cloud services.
  • Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve the performance, responsiveness, and efficiency of mobile applications.
  • Bug Fixing and Maintenance: Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and provide maintenance and support for existing mobile applications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure the successful delivery of mobile projects.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments and user guides.
  • Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, Flutter updates, and best practices in mobile application development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Some experience as a Mobile App Developer
  • Understanding of mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

  • Experience with mobile app development tools and frameworks, including Flutter, Firebase, and third-party libraries.

  • Knowledge of Dart programming language.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration.
