Our Deloitte Central Mediterranean practice (Greece, Italy, Malta) hosts our Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Magento/Adobe Commerce competence center. We are growing the pipeline of Italian based clients; thus, we are expanding to support international collaboration opportunities within Deloitte member firms across EMEA.

We are looking for a
Digital Commerce Web Developer in Thessaloniki.
You will have the chance to participate to important international projects becoming part of a growing, international network. You will be part of a project delivery team, with colleagues in Greece but as well as members of other international offices, including Italy. Delivering front and / or back-end development tasks, as part of an Agile Scrum team. The projects will focus on the delivery of Digital eCommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify.

For a full coverage of your role, you ought to be able to:

• Work collaboratively with local and remote team members as part of an Agile delivery team.

• Understand functional documentation (user stories) and be able to translate these into technical solutions.

• Implement functional and technical solutions.

• Improve your technical skills in: HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, REST API, GraphQL, Git.

• Perform Testing and Verification (unit, system, integration, and acceptance).

• Ensure the resolution of complex incidents.

• Problem management (bug, updates failures) and propose technical solutions.

• Guarantee the quality of services as requested by our clients and act accordingly to ensure SLA fulfilment.

Key Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

•
Professional experience
in consulting firms, digital agencies, or corporate web development environments.

•
Bachelor's degree
in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related technical discipline.

• Proven hands-on experience in
web application development
(front-end and/or back-end).

• Strong proficiency in
HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Solid understanding of
RESTful APIs, JSON,
and data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.

• Familiarity with
responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile-first development.

• Experience using
Git
and collaborative version control workflows.

• Ability to write
clean, modular, and maintainable code
following industry best practices.

• Good
debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of
web performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.

• Excellent
communication and teamwork
abilities.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in an
Agile/Scrum
environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with scalable front-end architecture patterns.

• Understanding of
CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud-based deployment (AWS, Azure, Vercel, Netlify).

• Experience with
database systems
(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

• Knowledge of
API design
(REST and/or GraphQL).

• Exposure to
testing frameworks
(Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright).

• Understanding of
accessibility (WCAG)
and inclusive design principles.

• Experience building or maintaining
design systems
and reusable UI components.

• Familiarity with
performance monitoring
and analytics tools.

• Up-to-date awareness of
emerging web technologies
and commitment to continuous learning.
