Role Overview
This role is dedicated to the management and growth of Häagen-Dazs franchised shops within the CEEMEA region in alignment with the GEMS marketing strategy.
The Brand Manager – CEEMEA Region will support the execution of brand marketing strategies across multiple markets, ensuring consistent brand messaging, premium positioning, and effective local adaptation. The role covers a wide and dynamic geography, including the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) markets of Greece, Cyprus, Romania, and Croatia, as well as the Middle East & Africa (MEA) markets of UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Mauritius, La Réunion, and Pakistan. This person will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager SEA & CEEMEA[BJ1] , and collaborate with franchise partners, agencies, and internal cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- The Brand Manager is expected to maintain a close pulse on the ground—including scheduled traveling across key markets to monitor trends, assess pricing landscapes, and ensure strategic alignment within the CEEMEA markets.
- Manage and track the marketing budget for the CEEMEA region, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Support the implementation of brand marketing strategies in the CEEMEA region in alignment with global guidelines and regional objectives.
- Localize global campaigns and seasonal toolkits to ensure market relevance and impact within CEEMEA
- Manage marketing calendars, campaign execution timelines, and brand activations across key CEEMEA markets.
- Coordinate with CEEMEA franchise partners to support the launch of new shop formats, menus, and innovations.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation within CEEMEA.
- Track and report on marketing KPIs, providing actionable insights to optimize performance withing CEEMEA markets.
- Support the development and adaptation of digital and social media strategies within CEEMEA in collaboration with global and regional teams.
- Ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders (including operations, sales, supply chain, and franchisee marketing teams) for successful CEEMEA campaign rollouts.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date marketing materials and implement global ways of working across local markets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, ideally within F&B, retail, or hospitality.
- Experience working with franchise or multi-country environments is highly valued.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Creative thinker with a consumer-first mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English and Greek; additional CEEMEA region languages are a plus.
- Passion for premium brands, food culture, and innovation.
