JOB DESCRIPTION

At Inofita Plant, Greece we are looking for a results-oriented and creative professional with working experience in Food Industry and continuous improvement mindset to join the Baking Innovation Technology & Quality (ITQ) team in the role of R&D Scientist.

This role will support the Betty Crocker INT & Bakery and Food Service team priorities and projects in a temporary contract base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Key Plant and External Manufacturers personnel to execute trials in a safe and effective manner
  • Innovate and Renovate our core product range to bring Growth to our Brands
  • Continuously improving our waste management in all areas related to R&D
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to deliver key plan making Projects
  • Interact with consumers and customers to develop meaningful insights and translate into concepts, prototypes and commercial offerings
  • Leverage scientific knowledge to solve key technical issues
  • Maintain the safety of our people and our products

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years' relevant experience in the Food Industry in similar role
  • B.Sc. (or higher) in Chemical Engineering, Food Science or similar
  • Previous experience in Baking and Dough R&D will be considered an asset
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to travel
  • Problem solving skills and can-do attitude
