Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Accounting Manager, joining the Management Team of our company and play an active role in the continuous growth and financial targets of the company.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:month and end-year process
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and reporting of all Tax returns (corporate income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes)
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • Cash Flow preparation
  • Reconciliations (bank, receivables, payables)
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and provide financial statements
  • Establish and apply proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits
  • Provide recommendations
  • Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Meet financial accounting objectives
  • Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager with experience in Tax.
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
