Trainee lawyer

We are looking for a trainee to join our Civil, Commercial and Criminal Litigation team.

The role

You will be:

• working with a group of lawyers practicing civil and commercial litigation before Greek and European courts and authorities/regulators;
• undertaking multiple external tasks related to judicial and extra-judicial pending and upcoming cases;
• reviewing, drafting, processing, proofreading and translating a variety of legal documents;
• providing assistance to expert lawyers in trial preparation, conducting legal research, organizing trial bundles and records material, filing documents at courts;
• maintaining calendar of assigned active cases;
• providing advice and support to other members of the team and the wider business.

Candidate requirements
:

• excellent command of the English language;
• bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) – an ongoing post graduate degree (LLM or equivalent) in Greek Civil Law or Civil Procedural Law or Criminal Law would be considered as an advantage;
• ability to work autonomously and independently but also able to work as a team player under specific deadlines;
• excellent communication and organization skills;
• commercial awareness;
• high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
