Within this context, we are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Business Development Executive to expand our client base in Greece and drive sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target prospect client companies in at least two of the following verticals:  construction & engineering, manufacturing & production, energy, logistics, shipping and shipyards, industry, hospitality and tourism, agriculture, and more, and related industries facing skill shortages.
  • Develop new business opportunities for DSS Greece through networking in their existing client and contact base, as well as using other sales approach methods such as cold calling/emailing, LinkedIn outreach, trade fairs and exhibitions, and client visits.
  • Pitch and present DSS Greece services to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and engrained flexibility of sourcing skilled manpower from India and Southeast Asia. Our strong track record and existing client base that includes several of Greece's top corporations, along with our long-standing track record across 26 countries in the past 5 decades, will strongly support this endeavour, as it serves as a very strong door-opener and deal-closer
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships, acting as their primary point of contact during the sales process and until the time of handover to the CRM and Operations teams that execute client mandates for recruitment.
  • Collaborate fully with all internal teams, including CRM and Operations, both in Greece and in India, who, between them, handle the recruitment and deliver customized workforce solutions to our Clients.
  • Support clients in the process to prepare critical input to conduct their mandates, for example, in their job description drafts, providing salary benchmarks for similar positions, etc.
  • Draft client proposals and tailor DSS agreements to the clients' mandates in order to finalise the deals.
  • Track, analyze, and report on client account performance; recommend improvements to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Act as a key point of contact with the client, maintaining a pulse on client satisfaction and helping to ensure a smooth coordination across sourcing, assessment, visa/work permit processing, and onboarding cycles.
  • Work with clients on repeat orders and new mandates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development.
  • Strong understanding of some of the business verticals where our clients operate (e.g., construction/hospitality / manufacturing/logistics / as per the above) is a bonus
  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Communications, or related field. MBA Preferred
  • Proven track record of sales success and client relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask, travel frequently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Needs to be fluent in English and Greek
  • Should have their own business and company contacts, and network in place
  • Must have own car.

 Location: Athens, Greece; working style is hybrid, and local/regional/national travel should be expected.
