SAP FICO Functional Analyst

• Motion Technologies: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of : 4,000; operates in 13 countries) manufactures brake components and specialized sealing solutions, shock absorbers and damping technologies primarily for the global automotive, truck and trailer, public bus and rail transportation markets.
• Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of :3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.
• Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of : 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.

Position Summary
The resource will be integrated in the SAP CoE team and located in Athens (Greece) as SAP Functional Specialist with responsibility for the FI (Finance) area and CO (Controlling) area.

Mission is to maintain, implement and improve the SAP FI and CO Modules for all the ITT sites and all the SAP landscapes active in ITT and to be opened to support also the MM PUR area (training will be granted by our internal team)

The SAP
FICO Functional expert
will provide hands on in executing the day-to-day operational responsibilities in delivery of SAP Financial support for ITT's global enterprise. This will be a transversal role in the organization within the ITT's Corporate SAP Center of Excellence (CoE), reporting to the SAP CoE Functional Leader.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the FICO configuration (mainly related to operational activities and occasionally to special projects), compliance (SOX), and standardization of SAP processes and system configurations across our diverse enterprise.

You will be expected to have a technical background in the SAP FICO area, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills to bridge the internal needs of the various internal IT organizations. This individual is expected to be an expert in all the SAP FICO requirements and their respective obligations, guiding the ITT business units and external contractors in the maintenance, improvements and growing of all the ITT SAP systems.

This person will be included in the SAP CoE FICO Functional team and will be educated to support also the SAP MM PUR module.

Essential Responsibilities

• Support the SAP FICO operational activities (mainly in the AMS area); evaluate needs and provide options/recommendations to address the needs, etc.
• Advocate for the needs of the end users and IT teams as they aspire to provide a premier level of service for all our business units.
• Working with our SAP Value Center expert, proactively evaluate and assess each landscape on the FICO area and evaluate / make recommendations to improve Financial and Controlling posture and performance in a proactive manner.
• Effectively integrate SAP FICO configuration into the business environment to achieve expected business results.
• Available to learn the MM PUR module and related support
• Apply best practice business processes and technical alternatives while operating in a rapidly changing business environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are integrated into SAP implementations and upgrades.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP FICO configurations (after the induction the same will be required for the SAP MM PUR area)
• Monitor and respond to SAP FICO incidents, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies (later the same will be required for the SAP MM PUR area).
• Standardize SAP FICO configurations, across multiple SAP instances and landscapes
• Communicate FICO issues, and solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• FICO Incident management and resolution. (later the same will be required for the SAP MM PUR area).
• Due to the critical nature of this role, on-call support will be required should there be a critical issue impacting business operations.

Position Requirements
Experience with SAP support in multinational environments with FI and CO as first areas of competence with a higher focus on SAP Application Maintenance/Operational activities and sporadically also support to SAP Special Projects.

• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Business or Computer Science); MBA a plus
• Experience (3+ years) in SAP FICO proven track record in large, complex organizations.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP best practices and methodologies.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO, localizations and compliance reporting
• Experience within a large multi-national organization with a diverse set of personnel from multiple regions and countries.
• Strong client-driven mindset and be willing to extend themselves to collaborate across teams, geographies, and time zones in an effective and efficient manner.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain detailed records of control design, assessments, and testing results.
• Knowledge to support different SAP releases:
• S4H/Suite on Hana
• ECC 6.0
• SAP 4.0b
• Strong organizational & analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in the English language is a necessity.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.
• Able to balance competing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Travel is project based, but generally no more than 10% to 15
