Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the role:

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of IT to support the Director of IT in managing all technology systems and infrastructure at the property. This leadership support role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation, security, and maintenance of IT systems that support our luxury guest experience and business objectives.

You will be responsible for assisting the Director of IT in managing and maintaining all hotel technology, supervising day-to-day IT operations , implementing approved systems strategies , and executing technology initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and guest satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies aligned with hotel goals, ensuring robust and secure technology infrastructure.
• Manage all critical hotel systems including Property Management System (PMS), Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, POS, and back-office applications.
• Lead IT projects and system upgrades, collaborating with corporate teams and vendors to deliver seamless technology solutions.
• Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of IT services to support hotel operations and guest needs.
• Establish and maintain system security protocols consistent with corporate policies.
• Oversee IT budget, contracts, and vendor relationships to optimize cost-efficiency and service quality.
• Provide leadership and support to the IT team, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment.

What You Bring

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel IT, with at least 2 years i n managerial position .
• Proven expertise in hospitality technology systems such as Opera PMS, HSIA, POS, and network infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills and experience implementing IT upgrades and new systems.
• Solid knowledge of network security, server infrastructure, Active Directory, and backup solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
