Since 2004, the company has provided first-class commercial management services, utilizing a dynamic team of industry-experienced personnel. With expertise in the global dry bulk market and particular expertise in the Black Sea Grains and Oilseeds market, we offer competitive fixing and full management of charters. On the tanker side, our team expertly handles all shipping and chartering operations, including post-fixture operations and demurrage claims.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartering Manager located in Athens. The Chartering Manager will be responsible for negotiating and fixing charters, managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, coordinating with port agents, and handling demurrage claims. Day-to-day tasks will include analyzing market trends, ensuring compliance with contracts, optimizing freight costs, and managing post-fixture operations to ensure successful charter completion.

Candidate should have

Minimum 5 years experience in chartering and in addition experience in a ship-operators companies

particularly have good knowledge in handy/handymax and/or panamax markets

Ideally this position is perfect for a person who is capable and willing to apply his knowledge for the company's growth in exchange for a solid financial remuneration.

Qualifications


• Experience in a ship operating environment


• Proven success fixing dry bulk vessels – Supra/Panamax essential


• Strong knowledge of voyage execution & charter party negotiations

  • Comfortable liaising with brokers, owners, and internal teams
  • Experience in Trading, Freight, and Commodity Markets
  • Knowledge of International Business and Maritime operations
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the dry bulk or tanker industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, International Business, or related field
