Kalesma Mykonos, an award-winning luxury boutique hotel and member of Design Hotels, is seeking a charismatic, results-driven, and service-oriented Director of Sales & Marketing to join our Executive Team.

This pivotal leadership position is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of all Sales & Marketing activities to drive revenue across Rooms, Suites, Villas, F&B, and Events. You will collaborate closely with the ownership, hotel management, and international partners, ensuring all efforts align with Kalesma's brand positioning, reputation, and commercial goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and implement the hotel's Sales & Marketing strategy and annual budget across all market segments.

Develop targeted strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue, including for our exclusive villas and suites.

Work closely with the Reservations and Revenue teams to ensure optimal forecasting and yield management.

Identify opportunities for shoulder and off-season growth through creative promotions and market-specific campaigns.

Represent Kalesma Mykonos at key global trade shows, sales showcases, and luxury travel industry events.

Build and maintain strong relationships with high-end travel advisors, luxury consortia, and strategic partners.

Drive sales performance through proactive business development, lead generation, and account management.

Collaborate with PR, media, and social media partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and high visibility across all channels.

Curate seasonal campaigns, content strategies, and oversee all PR/media visits and FAM trips.

Maintain brand consistency across all sales collateral, presentations, and marketing materials.

Oversee reputation management, strategic communications, and crisis messaging if required.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality sector.

Strong network within the international luxury travel trade.

Excellent command of English; additional languages are a plus.

Proven track record in revenue management, forecasting, and achieving sales targets.

Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Opera PMS, IDeaS RMS, or CRM systems is an advantage.

Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and high-pressure situations with elegance and professionalism.
