IT Infrastructure Domain Architect

IT Infrastructure Domain Architect

As an IT Infrastructure Domain Architect, you will:
  • Lead the architecture and deployment of new or existing technologies to improve ways of working and overall efficiency of our posture;
  • Work with both on-premises and cloud technologies (including OSs, virtualization, databases security, networking, firewalling, cloud security (Azure and AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies such as Openshift/Kubernetes;
  • Design infrastructure solutions by embedding security best practices in every implementation, maintaining the uninterrupted operations of services & platforms, either hosted in DC premises or on public cloud providers;
  • Aim for continuous improvement of standards and security frameworks;
  • Ensure infrastructure and operational services adhere to agreed-upon security and service levels, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of security implementations.
Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with over 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure consulting.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional IT projects with large teams.
  • Strong expertise in Application Servers (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and 2Tier/3Tier architecture design.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V), and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
  • Skilled in Java scripting, REST APIs, and JIRA for project management.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and IBM Bluemix.
  • Excellent communication skills in Greek and English, with strong interpersonal abilities.
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
  • Knowledge of system coding and scripting for administration purposes, like Python, Perl, go etc;
  • Basic knowledge of networking (Firewall, Load Balancing, Routing);
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, ability to work in teams and coach clients;
  • Research and problem-solving abilities.
