CibusMed specializes in delivering parenteral nutrition services and in creating and licensing medical device software solutions (Computerized Order Entry, CPOE/ Clinical Decision Support Software, CDSS) for healthcare facilities which are used internationally.

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and driven Product Specialist to support the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of our medical device software. This role bridges the gap between our Clinical, Development, and Quality team to ensure our software products meet user needs, comply with Regulatory standards, and deliver clinical value.

This position will play a critical role in ensuring successful customer adoption and satisfaction, and eventually support onsite and remote training and installation procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical software, product lifecycle processes, and customer engagement, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Product Expertise & Support

• Deeply understand the software features and workflows
• Provide clinical and technical support to customers.
• Troubleshoot technical and workflow-related issues, escalating to Development or Quality teams as needed.
• Work closely with clinical users (e.g., pharmacists, physicians, nursing staff etc.) to understand and resolve user concerns.

Product Strategy and Development

·      Gather user feedback, clinical input, and market needs to support product management and improvements.

• Collaborate with Product management and Development team throughout the software lifecycle.
• Perform product testing and validation, including usability testing.

Customer Training & Installations

• Deliver end-user training, both virtually and onsite, for new customer implementations.

• Assist with software installations, configurations, and onboarding workflows.

• Develop and maintain product documentation including user manuals, training materials, and application notes.

Clinical & Regulatory Alignment

• Ensure product features and updates align with relevant regulatory standards (MDR, ISO 13485, IEC
• Support compliance of the software with relevant regulatory standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support preparation and maintenance of quality and regulatory documentation in compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Sales and Marketing Support

• Support sales and marketing with technical content, product demos, and clinical narratives.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Nutrition, or a related field.
• 2–5years of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., product support, application specialist, clinical training) within healthcare technology or medical device software.
• Strong technical aptitude and comfort with software systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — able to work effectively with clinical users and technical teams alike.
• English language at a professional level.
• Willingness to travel for customer training, onboarding, and installations.

Preferred:

• Experience working under regulatory frameworks such as EU MDR, or ISO 13485.
• Prior involvement in usability testing and software validation.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
