IT Systems Manager
to join their growing team.

The IT Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the company's IT infrastructure and systems. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with people management and project coordination, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of the organization's IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system availability, performance, and security.
  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud environments.
  • Design, implement, and support IT systems and services aligned with business needs.
  • Plan and execute IT projects such as infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Manage vendors, service providers, and IT budgets to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Define and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
  • Ensure data protection, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Monitor network and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures and compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other standards.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align IT initiatives with business goals and digital transformation priorities.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed IT documentation and provide training or guidance to users when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, systems engineering, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading IT teams and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
  • Solid understanding of networking technologies (Cisco, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and business continuity planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Good to have

  • Certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Solutions Architect, or Cisco CCNP.
  • Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
