About the Role

As a
Junior Systems Engineer
at Active, you will play an essential role in supporting the reliable operation of our clients' IT environments. You will be responsible for handling and resolving day-to-day technical incidents in accordance with SLA commitments, delivering timely, high-quality support and ensuring excellent service levels.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and responding to IT incidents reported by clients
  • Resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networks
  • Ensuring that all incidents are handled effectively according to agreed timelines
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to resolve more complex issues
  • Performing regular maintenance and system updates for clients
  • Providing clear and professional communication to clients during support interactions

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field
  • Early-stage experience in IT support or similar responsibilities
  • Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to solve problems and eagerness to learn
  • Time management and effective task prioritization
