About the role

We are looking for a sharp, detail- oriented Accountant to join our team in Athens. In this crucial role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring everything is compliant with accounting standards and tax regulations. Key duties & responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Delivering professional Accounting and Tax services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
• Working collaboratively with a team to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional client service.
• Building strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, addressing their financial needs proactively.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulations.
• Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with audit teams.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
• Upholding the highest standards of business ethics in all professional interactions.
• Ensuring timely and thorough completion of all assigned tasks and responsibilities.

What you bring

We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to excellence and has the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience, preferably within an accounting firm.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required: Class B Accountant License (Άδεια Λογιστή Β' Τάξης) or higher certification.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Epsilon Net is an advantage.

Expertise: Experience drafting VAT returns, Corporate Income Tax returns, and Financial Statements.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Greek and English.
