We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our People & Culture team. The ideal candidate has min. 2 years of hands-on experience managing payroll in our entities and a solid understanding of Greek labor and social security regulations. You will assist in processing payroll accurately and on time, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and internal policies.
Responsibilities
As a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you will:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for employees in Greece and our foreign entities.
- Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll components.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in the HR/payroll system.
- Ensure compliance with Greek labor laws, social security contributions, and tax regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (HR, Finance) to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing reports for management, auditors, and authorities as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.
- Consult the team on benefits, tax and labor law related issues.
To be successful in this role as a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you should have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing in Greece; experience with foreign entities (UK, US, Cyprus) is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in Greek labor law, social security, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software (preferably Pylon or any other Epsilonet product) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
