We're hiring on behalf of a family-owned shipping company based in Greece with over 20 years of experience in international marine transportation.

Operating a fleet of around 10 oil and petroleum product tankers, the company is headquartered in Athens and maintains a representative office in Dubai.

They are now seeking a
Junior Accountant

to join their growing international finance team. The working language is English, and the role offers excellent exposure to international operations in the marine industry.

What You'll do

  • Maintain accurate financial records and perform data entry in accounting software.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Support the Head Accountant in daily accounting and reporting tasks.
  • Communicate with external partners and service providers.
  • Contribute to overall financial accuracy and process consistency.

What You'll Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Experience in shipping or logistics sectors is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Greek not required.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
  • Culturally aligned with international and Eastern European work styles.
