As an Junior Accountant at Delian you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations while supporting our month-end, year-end, and reporting processes. In this role you will get to

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

  • Manage accounts receivable (including issuing invoices) and accounts payable (including performing reconciliations).

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements) according to guidelines.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures and assist with the review of expenses and payroll records.

  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.

  • Maintain organized, accurate financial records and collaborate on various administrative and accounting projects.

Must have experience

  • A Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Up to 2 years of experience in a junior accounting role

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles (including Greek GAAP/IFRS) and a solid grasp of numbers and figures.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g.Entersoft is a bonus).

  • Excellent organizing abilities, great attention to detail, and an analytical acumen.

  • High level of responsibility, a desire to learn quickly, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
