We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team and support the day-to-day accounting operations of our expanding international business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within a fast-moving environment.

As a Junior Accountant, you'll work closely with senior team members to ensure the accuracy of our financial records and assist in monthly and quarterly processes across our legal entities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including recording of operating expenses and employee expense reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and contribute to the monthly reconciliation process.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Participate in ferry reconciliation processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliation.
  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation.
  • Participate in new implementations to streamline workflows and embed automation, improving efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Support the maintenance of comprehensive financial documentation by organizing and archiving invoices, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in both electronic and physical formats.
  • Assist with additional tasks as required, including supporting ad hoc projects and documentation collection.

Required qualifications, skills & knowledge

  • 1–2 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience in Softone is a plus
  • Fluent in English.
