Overall purpose:

We are seeking a Global Aftermarket Engineer to lead worldwide aftermarket development for our client`s business. The role involves mapping global service and parts opportunities, overseeing remanufacturing setup, and ensuring full lifecycle support for commercial marine, defense, and yachting customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct global market analysis to identify aftermarket opportunities, service hubs, and partners.
  • Develop and implement aftermarket and spare parts strategies, optimizing availability and efficiency.
  • Lead the setup and readiness of the in-house remanufacturing program, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to align technical and business objectives.
  • Build and manage relationships with global partners, distributors, and fleet operators.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of experience in aftermarket, service engineering, or remanufacturing (heavy equipment).
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems (MTU or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in technical project planning and execution.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial skills; comfortable working remotely and internationally.
  • Willingness to travel globally (30–50%).
