We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and help scale our multiomics AI platform. You'll work closely with our founding engineer to build robust systems that process biological data at scale and deliver AI-powered health insights. This is a hands-on role where you'll have significant impact on our technical execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development
  • Design and implement high-performance data processing pipelines for multiomics data
  • Build scalable REST APIs for internal and external consumption
  • Optimize database schemas and queries for complex biological datasets
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring systems
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across distributed systems
Frontend Development
  • Create intuitive, responsive web interfaces for data visualization and analysis
  • Build interactive dashboards for exploring multiomics insights
  • Develop reusable component libraries and design systems
  • Optimize frontend performance for large dataset rendering
  • Implement real-time updates and collaborative features
Integration & AI
  • Connect LLM-powered features into user workflows
  • Build interfaces that make complex AI insights accessible to scientists and clinicians
  • Integrate with partner healthtech platforms and third-party APIs
  • Ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance across all systems

Requirements

Technical
  • Strong experience building production backend systems (APIs, databases, data pipelines)
  • Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
  • Solid frontend skills with React or similar frameworks
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
  • Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy requirements

  • Strong execution focus with ability to deliver quality code quickly
  • Comfortable working across the full stack
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
