Ithaca NGO is a growing non-profit organization that, since 2016, has been providing hygiene and support services to homeless and socially vulnerable groups, aiming at social reintegration and the preservation of human dignity.

As a Social Media Assistant, you will contribute to the organization's digital communication strategy and the execution of online campaigns, with the goal of raising awareness, engaging the community, and strengthening support for our initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy Development

  • Develop and implement digital communication and promotion strategies across social media, the website, and other digital channels.
  • Plan and execute awareness and fundraising campaigns.

Digital Channels Management

  • Create, manage, and monitor content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Update and optimize the organization's website.

Advertising Campaigns

  • Design and monitor paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) to maximize performance.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to measure campaign success.

Content Creation

  • Develop creative and inspiring copy and visual content for blog posts, newsletters, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with designers to produce visual materials.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Social Media Insights, etc.) to collect and analyze data.
  • Prepare reports with results and improvement recommendations.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is desirable.
  • Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient use of MS Office and project management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Empathy, social awareness, and resilience in demanding environments.
