Logistics Associate

Based in Thessaloniki| Ref: CUS - 0725

VIPA is a European multinational company, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a leading position in the global recycling and recovered material trading sectors. Its Greek subsidiary, VIPA Hellas, is headquartered in Thessaloniki (G&G Office Complex, Mediterranean Cosmos area) and employs more than 300 people in Greece, achieving constant dynamic growth in both operations and manpower. This is an entry-level position and we would like to hire a professional who will mainly focus on customs clearance procedures. The working schedule is 9:00 - 17:00, on a non-fixed contract.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • In charge of Data Entry and Electronic Document Management (shipment data)

  • Prepare necessary documentation for custom clearance procedures

  • Handle clearance procedures for effective transportation of goods

  • Coordinate with external partners and freight forwarders to ensure proper delivery of materials

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Conduct daily checks on shipment schedules

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Logistics or Business Administration, or any other related field

  • At least one year of experience in supply chain, logistics or transportation

  • Excellent knowledge of English

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Attention to detail
