Credit Control Officer
for their Financial Department in Athens, reporting to the Head of Accounting of the Group:
Responsibilities:
· Monitoring the implementation of the company's credit policy.
· Monitoring and reconciling customer balances.
· Collaborating with the Sales Department to ensure timely collection of customer balances.
· Monitoring and managing bad debt claims.
· Cooperating with the Financial Department to prepare reporting for the Management.
· Collecting debts through communication and collaboration with clients.
· Verifying collections, reconciling balances, and sending reports.
· Supporting credit limit processes and month/year-end closing.
· Forecasting monthly/annual collections.
· Weekly ageing reporting.
· Communicating with clients (private & public sector) and the company's lawyer.
Candidate Profile:
· Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
· Excellent knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk management.
· At least 4 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a role related to credit policy and risk analysis.
· Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
· Excellent command of English.
· Ability to make decisions in a demanding environment.
· Knowledge of ERP Soft1 Series 6 is desirable.
