Credit Controller

About the job

Main tasks :

· Checking and evaluating customer's credit ratings in connection with insurance companies and independent credit intelligence companies.

· Monitoring customers' commercial behavior and extracting KPI's, reporting weekly and monthly.

· Extracting and interpreting Aging of receivables.

· Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales.

· Create procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention.

· Maintain an efficient system of policies that adequately control treasury activities. Ensure that credit and collection policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Economic studies. Post graduate degree will be considered an asset.

· Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in the finance department of a well-established company.

· Very good knowledge of MS Office applications and professional experience with Microsoft Excel.

· Excellent command of written and spoken English.

· Basic knowledge of accounting (double entry journals).

· Familiar with various ERP systems, prior experience in Atlantis Softone  ERP will be considered an asset.

· the ability to work in a team as well as individually,

· the ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail,

· excellent written and verbal communication skills.
