We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Kitchen Coordinator to join our culinary team at Conrad Athens The Ilisian. In this vital role, you will support the kitchen operations by ensuring that all administrative processes run smoothly, from inventory management to staff schedules. Your organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will be essential to maintaining our high standards of service and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily kitchen operations, ensuring clear and effective communication between back-of-house and front-of-house teams.
  • Monitor food inventory levels, support the procurement process, and oversee proper stock rotation and storage in accordance with food safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of menu items, upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and visual appeal.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, contributing to a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment.
  • Provide hands-on support during peak service periods, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food to guests.
  • Serve as a liaison between the culinary team and other departments, facilitating seamless coordination for special events, banquets, and functions.
  • Participate in the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff, promoting adherence to company policies, procedures, and culinary best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in a kitchen operations role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • A culinary diploma or related qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail with effective multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in Greek and English for liaising with kitchen staff and management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Proficient in using kitchen management software and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
