About the Role

We are seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
for a
Tech Lead
role to join our team and technically represent
ahedd
in our numerous collaborations across industries. You will be part of a uniquely positioned technical team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems. These systems are meant to empower organizations towards a true digital transformation, enabling efficiency and effectiveness, interoperability, meaningful data access, and scalable services for innovation-driven projects.

You will play a key role in
architecting intelligent systems
to face true business and organizational needs, designing robust data models, and ensuring seamless integration across distributed environments, while supporting and collaborating with internal and external implementation teams to fulfil technical project aims.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement high-quality digital service implementations
  ,typically published as web services and RESTful APIs
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
  , tapping into a cutting-edge technology ecosystem
• Devise and review AI/ML-powered systems
  , selecting and utilizing different combination of tools and methods to achieve business goals
• Support and empower
  a growing team of
  internal developers
• Develop technical synergies with numerous external collaborators
  to support complex system requirements in modular architectures
• Model and implement efficient data access layers
  (databases and related APIs)
• Ensure
  system scalability
  , performance, and minimal downtime of online services
• Collaborate
  closely with front-end and back-end engineers consuming your APIs
• Guarantee
  security, stability, and reliability
  across deployed systems
• Participate in
  project planning and management
  decisions within agile teams
• Drive continuous improvement
  through best practices, knowledge sharing, automation, and testing frameworks

Tech Stack

• Data layer:
  MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL
• APIs:
  FastAPI, BlackSheep, Laravel
• Front end:

Requirements

• Minimum
  6 years of experience
  as Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or related role
• Strong
  team-leadership skills
  , aiming for team growth and humane, supportive collaboration
• Expert understanding of
  Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  and
  Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
• Strong foundation in
  software design principles
  (S.O.L.I.D) and design patterns
• Proven experience in
  Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  , mocking, and IoC concepts
• Advanced
  relational database design
  and query optimization skills
• Experience with
  peer reviews
  and collaborative code processes
• Linux administration
  proficiency
• Ability to
  troubleshoot and resolve
  technical issues in testing and production environments
• Experience with
  cloud services
  (e.g. Amazon Web Services - AWS, Google Cloud
  )
• Familiarity with
  containerization
  (Docker)
• Deep expertise in
  API development frameworks
  (e.g. FastAPI, Blacksheep, Laravel)
• Excellent
  communication
  and
  English language skills
• Solid understanding of System Design and CI/CD pipelines
• Team-oriented approach, open to feedback, and eager to learn and grow

• Experience with
