We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Support Engineer to join our Computer Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • IT Systems Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical issues - diagnose and correct problems. Perform smaller technical maintenance and part replacement works, and coordinate device repairs with external service providers if required.

  • IT Users Support: Provide 1st and 2nd level support when needed. Responsively and effectively handle hardware and software related issues, and complete requests for technical support in a timely manner. Managing service requests and incident tickets, tracking resolution progress, and maintaining accurate documentation. Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides. Educating employees on IT policies and best practices.

  • IT Projects Participation: Participating in IT projects, such as hardware upgrades, system migrations, new application rollouts and preventive maintenance in ASHELLAS's offices of Athens and Thessaloniki. Assisting in the deployment and patching of software and ensuring endpoint security (antivirus, updates, encryption).

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of proven experience in IT hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Windows systems and O365.
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of management of Microsoft SQL Server , Microsoft Azure platform.
