Our client
is a leading crowdfunding platform dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to bring their ideas to life and specialized mainly in real estate. They are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Support and Maintenance Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation, security, and performance of their platform, providing support for users, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers their growing community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day IT support for internal teams, troubleshooting technical issues related to the crowdfunding platform.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance and uptime of the platform's infrastructure, including web servers, databases, and cloud services.
• Implement system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve bugs, troubleshoot technical problems, and deploy new features.
• Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard user data, financial transactions, and sensitive platform information.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to platform users.
• Prepare documentation for systems, processes, and procedures related to platform maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to crowdfunding platforms and IT infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or platform maintenance, preferably within a web-based environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), server management, and web technologies.
• Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and website performance monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of security protocols, including data encryption, firewall configuration, and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with crowdfunding platforms or similar online transaction-based systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Certifications in IT-related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
