The Vibe

I'm an operator/UX/product person who's shipped products from 0-1 and led teams for years. I'm now spinning up a marketplace where people book trusted advisors for short sessions.

Not going deep on details in public yet but think: clear pricing, verified experts, simple booking, wallet/credits, and review signals.

This space is

: expert/consultation marketplaces are growing fast, the broader "expert networks 1:1 advice" category is a
multi-billion
market with steady growth (7–16% CAGR in recent reports). Competitors prove demand (e.g., consumer-facing "book an expert by video" platforms; classic expert networks still expanding).

Who I'm looking for

Spiritual, curious, open-minded. You like shipping, not posturing. You care about craft
and
ethics. You can own decisions, communicate clearly, and enjoy pairing with product/UX.

Role Options:

  • Option A: Full-Stack Co-Founder (CTO track)
  • Own the stack end-to-end (from first deploy to scale).

  • Help pick the base template (we may adapt a React marketplace theme) and wire in auth, payments, bookings, and reviews.

  • Option B — Two Co-Founders (Front End + Back End)

  • React/Next, component systems, UX polish, performance.
  • APIs, data model, payments, bookings, infra/observability.

What you will do early

  • Stand up v0 → v1: auth, profiles, search/browse, messaging, booking, payments.
  • Keep things lean: one VPS or simple PaaS to start; tighten feedback loops.
  • Co-design the roadmap and own technical decisions, security, and reliability.
  • Set engineering rituals: code standards, PR hygiene, deploy pipeline.

What you bing

  • Full-stack
    : (or similar), SQL, API design.
  • Or
    FE: strong React chops + FE architecture;
  • Or
    BE: payments, queues, DBs.
  • Pragmatic dev-ops: you can ship on a tiny budget without drama.
  • Bonus: experience with marketplaces, bookings, Stripe, or WebRTC.
