Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Salamis for the Superintendent Marine Engineer and Assistant Superintendent Marine Engineer roles. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating technical staff, carrying out planned maintenance and repairs of ships, and ensuring compliance with international marine standards, regulations and reporting to shipyard management staff and costumers. Furthermore the role will require budgets creation and management as well as documentation formulation for internal and external purposes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field. Ex mariners are also welcome.
  • Previous work experience in ship repair, dry docking and reporting.
  • Thorough knowledge of marine engineering and naval architecture principles and practices.
  • Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with international marine regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software, engineering software, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
