About the role:

The
Powerplant Engineer
is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall management of the aircraft's powerplant systems and ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of aircraft powerplant systems, contributing to the overall safety and performance of company's fleet.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans for aircraft powerplant systems in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections, testing, and performance monitoring of aircraft engines, APUs, and related components.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with aircraft powerplant systems, including engine malfunctions, component failures, and performance discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities comply with relevant aviation regulations, manufacturer specifications, and airline policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and component replacements.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the reliability, efficiency, and safety of aircraft powerplant systems through the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with aircraft engine manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to procure spare parts, equipment, and technical support.

Requirements:

  • Academic Degree in Engineering or a Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's License Category B1 or C.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in powerplant engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience in aviation maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of EASA Regulations (Initial Airworthiness and Continuing Airworthiness).
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft engines, APUs, and related systems, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (verbal and written).
  • IT literate.
