So what's the challenge…

Do you enjoy turning data into real business impact? As an Online Data Analytics & Insights Specialist, you'll use advanced analytics and machine learning to uncover insights from online customer data, helping shape decisions and drive value through a deeper understanding of customer needs and behavior.

Your day to day will include:

  • Conducting deep-dive data analyses to provide insights into customer behaviors
  • Focusing on key business areas such as Customer Acquisition, Retention, Spend, Frequency of Play, and Game Preferences
  • Building predictive models using machine learning techniques such as segmentation (clustering), classification (propensity), forecasting (time series), and recommendation engines
  • Testing accuracy and business relevance of data tables designed and developed to support online data systems
  • Measuring website performance by analyzing traffic funnels and supporting product development and optimization through digital analytics
  • Processing data and programming using SQL, while performing data modeling in Python/PySpark within the Azure Databricks environment
  • Creating data visualizations and automating reporting primarily through Power BI or Tableau for recurring reports, and Excel or PowerPoint for ad hoc analysis
  • Utilizing digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, BigQuery, and Looker Studio for reporting (not mandatory knowledge to begin with)

What you need to succeed:

  • BSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Digital Analytics or Business Analytics. MSc in relevant topic is preferred
  • 2+ years of hands on experience in data mining and analysis of big data in Gaming, digital marketing, ecommerce in large complex organizations, e.g. Telecomms, Banking, Retail etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python for programming, Excel and Power BI for data visualization and Azure Databricks for data modeling is a nice-to-have
  • Proven track record in analyzing big customer data and providing actionable insights
  • Business acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts in a simplified manner so as to be easily consumed by non data experts
  • Adaptability to changing requirements and situations
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written)
