Description:

We are looking for a

DevOps Android Platform Engineer

to be part of a team, working for the international market, from Athens.

Responsibilities:

  • Integration of Android-based (AOSP) infotainment systems.
  • Maintain BSP deliveries provided by suppliers in our development environment.
  • Integration of security-relevant adjustments.
  • Cooperate with the software developers and test teams.
  • Support with problem analysis.
  • Monitor of the build and delivery process using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Merge upstream updates in our local repositories.
  • Derive of SCM operations for Configuration of software build.
  • Monitoring software quality, generation of metrics.

  • Have strong communication and collaboration skills within a multi-national environment and mentality.
  • Able to work efficiently independently, taking over ownership, and as a part of a team.

Required skills:

BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.

Hands-on experience as a DevOps or Software Integration engineer of a minimum of 2 years.

Working with SCM (Gitlab, Gerrit).

Writing pipelines using CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins).

Build and release management using CI/CD (Gitlab, Jenkins).

Understanding of integration strategies and branching (git, git-repo).

Programming / scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Extra skills:

Static code analysis (Klocwork, SonarQube).

Storage management and build systems (Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes).

Software development processes (Scrum, Kanban, Jira).

Coordination and communication skills.

Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Experience of technical coordination of small teams.

Understanding AOSP builds and BSP.
