Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer

We're looking for a technically skilled and solutions-driven graduates looking to secure a career as a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer to join our expanding Engineering team in Marousi, Greece. What we are looking for…

We're seeking strong technically experienced candidates with a strong background in platform operations, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering. You'll be mentored to deliver resilient, scalable, and secure solutions that power services for some of the world's most vital organisations while using your existing knowledge to improve our implementation and processes.

This role is based in Marousi, Greece.

Key responsibilities of the role…

Infrastructure & Automation

• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions using automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Continuously improve platform reliability and streamline operational workflows through automation and tooling.

Security & Observability

• Develop and maintain proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Contribute to both offensive and defensive security strategies, including threat simulations and incident playbooks.

Operational Excellence

• Provide 3rd line support for complex infrastructure issues, working alongside 1st and 2nd line teams to ensure fast and effective resolutions.
• Coordinate seamless, zero-downtime deployments in collaboration with Development teams.

Innovation & Collaboration

• Stay on the cutting edge of infrastructure technologies and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and identify improvement or efficiency gains with the leveraged products.
• Participate in regular research, proof-of-concept and implementation projects to evolve the platform.
• Champion a culture of collaboration, agility and continuous improvement.

About You…

• Fluent in English as you will be liaising with UK teams daily both written and spoken
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Experience with containerisation, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Experience working in a hybrid Linux & Windows virtual environment.
• Experience with a variety of operating systems and types of infrastructure and hardware.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable with overnight and weekend work (scheduled rotational basis).
• Experience working in an environment that is certified to standards such as PCI, SOC2, or FedRAMP is a big plus.
