Mismatch is an innovative sports start up helping basketball clubs and leagues modernize their operations through automated live streaming, statistical tracking, fan engagement tools, and more. We work with clients in Greece and aim to expand our impact.
Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will lead our growth strategy. You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base of basketball clubs and leagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic international expansion plan
- Build relationships with basketball leagues, clubs, and federations across target markets
- Identify and pursue alternative revenue streams (e.g., sponsorships, regional partnerships, platform monetization)
- Represent Mismatch at global industry events and basketball conferences
- Track KPIs and market trends to refine strategy and report progress
Requirements
- 5 years in business development, preferably in the sports or SaaS industry
- Deep understanding of basketball culture and ecosystem (a must)
- Strong network within international basketball organizations is a major plus
- Proven track record of launching or scaling products
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and travel
